Senior Minister
Kirk Langston
Kirk Langston is the Senior Minister at Borderview Christian Church. He has served in this role since April 2003. Kirk is a 1991 graduate of Johnson Bible College. He and his wife, Tina, have two girls, Hannah and Emily. Kirk has served in ministries in Florida, Kentucky, Indiana, and now Tennessee. In his spare time, he loves spending time with his family, camping, fishing, and is an avid Florida Gators fan. Ask him about the church and he will say, “God has blessed him with a great opportunity to serve here and a great congregation!” His goal each week is to share a message relevant for people’s lives today that ties God’s Word and daily living together.

Children's Ministry Director
Penny Milam
Penny Milam is the Children's Director at Borderview. After teaching for several years in Carter Co., she became a stay-at-home mom to her three kids, Jacob,9, Luke, 7, and Sarah, 5. But in September 2007, God showed her a new plan with the awesome position she has now. With the help of her wonderful husband, Eddie (who, among other things, is the Tae Kwon Do instructor at Franklin Health and Fitness Center in Elizabethton) she strives to create a warm, comfortable and fun environment for children to learn about God.
Youth Ministry Director
Adam Williams
Adam Williams is the youth minister at Borderview Christian Church and will begin this role in June 2010. Adam is a 2006 graduate of Milligan College. Since graduating from Milligan, he has had an active role as a sponsor in the youth ministry at his home church in Indianapolis, IN. In his free time, Adam enjoys reading, playing video games, and spending time with friends and family. Unlike Kirk, Adam is not a Florida Gators fan but a Purdue Boilermaker fan. Kirk would say the Boilers play for an inferior northern conference called the Big Ten, but Adam doesn’t believe that. When asked whether he would root for Tennessee or Florida, he would reply, “My veins bleed blue, but it’s Colts Blue, not Gator Blue. Since I’m a Peyton Manning fan, I would root for UT.” Adam is excited about returning to Northeast Tennessee and work with the great people at Borderview Christian Church while leading the youth group to grow towards spiritual maturity in Christ.
